suddenly everyone wants to order a cake now that i’m working like 40 hours a week 😩

so my impulse purchases of natsume season 4 and volume 18 have arrived! and i am vaguely disappointed that the disc set is in a normal box, because my sets for 1/2 and 3 are in big premium boxes with manga art on the cover, and now they won’t match. perhaps i should have considered this when i ordered the regular edition. but then, the regular edition is much much cheaper and i am pretty sure the only reason i have the fancy editions of the other seasons is because they were the only ones available at the time. (most of the anime i own is a christmas or birthday present. this one was bought with money left over from a christmas present that was returned for something cheaper. i’m a cheapskate, is what i am saying.)

anyway i guess i now own every single bit of natsume canon that is currently available in the US? as well as a nyanko-sensei plushie i got from a friend and a nyanko-sensei pin i got from a friend and a little nyanko-sensei figure i got from a friend--okay, i own a lot of natsume stuff, i think i now own more natsume stuff than any other series.

...well, at least i picked something classy.

also i am vaguely disappointed that the only character on the back of the disc case is natori, c’mon, he’s only in like two episodes, nobody else is important? granted the outside box for 1/2 just has reiko and some youkai on it and 3 just has matoba and his shiki and nyanko-sensei on it, but they’re artistic. and the backs of the inside boxes in those have either no one on the back or youkai in a wrap-around image with the front. unfortunately i can’t find any images of the backs of either the outside or inner boxes for the fourth premium edition, boo.

i realize this is super petty, and, like, the most minor of complaints to have about a season with some of the best episodes, but still. but still.

(okay no my real complaint is that the sets don’t match)

Last week we did French cakes! Sorry for the delay in posting lately. My life has been pretty crazy these past few weeks. 

Here we have the Success, Spring Passion and Charlotte Helena french cakes. It was so fun decorating these cakes and making them look beautiful :)
